Questions about web development
What does a custom website or webapp cost?
It works on a project basis: we set a fixed price up front based on what you need, so you never face surprises. No off-the-shelf 'from' rate, because custom work differs per project. If you'd rather work by the hour, my rate is around €80 to €95 per hour. Senior work, without agency overhead.
Do you build without AI too?
Yes. AI is what I build with a lot, but far from every project needs it. Just need a fast, easily found site or a solid webapp? Then I build exactly that, in Next.js and TypeScript, with the same senior approach as behind the AI projects.
Do you work with existing codebases or can I have my site taken over?
Certainly. I take over existing projects, whether it's maintenance, further development or a migration to a more modern stack. I look at the code that's there first, give an honest estimate, and you always get the full code in your own hands. No lock-in.
How long does a webapp project take?
A straightforward marketing site is often live within a few weeks. A custom webapp with more functionality usually takes a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the complexity and the connections. After a first conversation I give you a concrete schedule with fixed delivery points.
